It's always amazing to see God working in the lives of people. I always find myself speechless when I reflect on how my past prepares me for opportunities in the future. On March 27, 2009, Glowing Heart had the opportunity to worship with Oak Hills Community Church in Floresville, Texas.

If there were anything I would remember from this weekend, it would be the beauty of seeing burdens lifted during the Saturday night Worship service. I have never witnessed so much internal hurt in the lives of students in one church. Despite the pain these students felt, and despite the influences of peer pressure surrounding them, many students came to the altar and surrendered. Wounds that were once shamefully hidden were beautifully made vulnerable, so that the healing would begin.

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.Blessed is that man that perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive a crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him." James 1:2-12
