From the first day we found Glowing Heart on God Tube, until the day they arrived in Mt. Pleasant, TN at Southside Baptist Church, the hand of the Lord had been moving and preparing our church and our young people for this awesome event. One of the things that amazed us the most was when the Glowing Heart Team arrived in our parking lot and stepped off their vans, they immediately began walking up to our young people and started showing them love and kindness. It was almost like we had known them for years. That kind of kindness, friendliness, and love immediately broke down walls of shyness, intimidation to meet new people, and just any awkwardness to be around strangers. It made all the difference in our opinion. Our young people instantly were drawn to this GH team. For this to be able to happen so quickly confirms to me the annointing of the Lord that is upon this GH team. They truly have a desire to minister to young people and make a difference in their lives. It shows in their expressions on their faces. It shows in the advice they give to the youth. It shows in the message portrayed in the songs they sing. It shows in the leadership of their leader Bro. Henry Loftin. Here is a prime example of what I'm trying to say: One of our older members of Southside made this comment after the GH team left. He said: I don't think I've ever seen such a respectful bunch of college age kids before. The GH team even reached out to our older members of the church before the morning worship and went around and talked with them, hugged them, etc. This team just has a big heart for ministering to ALL. So from Southside Baptist Church and from me (Bro. Danny) and my wife Keisha....we say.....GOD BLESS YOU GLOWING HEART. Our prayers are with you and may you continue to help lead many more souls into the kingdom of God. For this is truly what it is all about.
