It’s crazy to say that this year is my fourth year of Glowing Heart because it hasn’t felt that long, but I have learned so much over the past three years. God has been showing me over and over again that He reigns in every situation, every moment, and everything. There is nothing that escapes His sovereignty and majesty. He knows what we go through and has been through everything we have been. Since God has been through what we have been or going through, He knows how to sympathize with us in our time of need. In Hebrews 4:15-16 says, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

I’ve seen people in crazy situations such as having cancer, families falling apart, and others having to be homeless, but God’s sovereignty reigns in every situation. He allowed them to go through those things to show them how much they need Him, that they need to cling to Him, and to teach them something. Some were healed, some families restored, and some in homes, but a lot had a peace and hope because they found a relationship with Christ. I, myself, have an autoimmune disease and even though it can be difficult a lot of the time I have learned that God knows what He is doing and is in complete control and loves me.

I just really want to see a generation of people who truly understands that Christ is in control and knows what He is doing in every situation we face and that He is the God that reigns over everything. “God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne. The prince of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted!”- Psalm 47:8-9.
