“But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine” (Isaiah 43:1).

I was blessed to grow up in a stable, Christian home and was pretty much the stereotypical “ministers kid” being at church every time the doors were open.  I asked Jesus into my life during the week of my first church camp experience at the age of 6 though at the time I didn’t really understand what it was I had done. The significance of what salvation really was didn’t have a whole lot of meaning to me other than I knew that having “Jesus in my heart” meant I was going to heaven. At the age of 11, I started having doubts about whether I was truly saved or not, and by then I had gained an understanding of what Jesus had done for me and I accepted His gift of salvation.

From that moment on God has done some amazing things in my life! I’ve felt God calling me to the music ministry for several years but I tried to ignore it and go my own way. I discovered though, through the two semesters I spent doing what I thought was best, that God wanted something so much better for me.  He led me to Glowing Heart Ministries and showed me that this is where He wants me to serve Him.

This is my second year as a part of Glowing Heart and I’m very excited to see what God has planned! I pray that He would use us to reach those that don’t yet know Him!

“In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).
