Role in Glowing Heart: Photographer and Videographer

I grew up living with my grandparents and my two older brothers. This was because both of my parents decided to go down ungodly paths. My mom and my dad got divorced when I was around the age of 4. Before and after the divorce they were both doing drugs which led me and my brothers to my grandparents. Growing up without my parents, I felt very lonely, and thought the divorce was my fault because I wasn’t aware of the situations at the time. As I got older, I realized the only way I would feel everlasting joy and love would be through Christ. I accepted Christ into my heart and into my life when I was 11, but I had not realized the true meaning of living for God. After many years in public school, doing things I should not have done, I started to attend church again at South Park Baptist Church. Being involved with the youth and Glowing Heart, helped me realize the true meaning of living for Christ. This changed my mindset and my life. Even my goal in life changed. It changed from worldly things, to things that would glorify God and His kingdom.

Glowing Heart gave me the example I needed to turn my life around for God. I am determined to do the same for everyone I come into contact with. I want to help show God’s love, and plan for our lives. That no matter what goes on, God will always be walking alongside of us as long as we don’t run ahead. We just have to be focused on God instead of the worldly things.

“When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy.” Psalms 49:19
