A leader is one who knows the way,
goes the way, and shows the way.”

What Is PaceSetters All About?
Learning to lead means learning to serve, so we put serving at the core of camp. Whether by service projects or seeing a need around you, as we develop a servant’s heart, we experience a richness of life we never dreamed of.
Serving
Leaders empower, encourage, and inspire others to fulfill their God-given role. During the week, students are challenged to grow as leaders through personal quiet times, group sessions, and community outreach.
Leading
One thing everyone who has attended PaceSetters will agree on; the people you meet the first day of camp feel like family by the last. Surrounding yourself with like-minded believers creates a unique and powerful atmosphere.
Connecting
The principles learned at camp are not meant to stay there! They need to be taken back to homes, schools & churches, so the love of Jesus is known in our communities. We desire for students to be bold believers for Christ.
Going
What are you going to learn about?
Our first year student focus on three qualities of Leadership:
+
Passion
All believers passion must be focused on Christ and His Gospel.
Through this we lead others to Christ.
=
Burden
Every believer has a different calling in life. This burden is how each of us are meant to bring about the kingdom.
Mission
The heart of the church is the building up of the body. This only occurs when we have our passion and burden working together.
What are we focusing on in 2025?
See What People Are Saying:
"PaceSetters is where you find a community of people set on fire for Jesus. They not only choose to support you during the week, but choose to do life with you after camp.”
Jaylin Harris
Student 2021-23, Counselor 2024-25
"Through 20 years of student ministry, PaceSetters Leadership Camp is the most effective tool that I have found in consistently developing student leaders. The method of leading through serving is taught through relationships and experiences in a way that takes root into the students' lives and bears fruit for God."
Brian Britt
Youth Pastor 2002-Present
"For me, PaceSetters was a place I was challenged and poured into on an individual level, and it changed my life by changing the way I lead others; by being vulnerable rather than trying to be a model of perfection.”
Jack Inman
Student 2013-16, Speaker 2025
"I don’t think words are capable of expressing the impact this week has had on my life. I came expecting another church camp, but in all reality, it was so much more. It showed me things that have changed my perspective on my walk with Christ”
Chad Lawson
Student 2000-2001
"What sets PaceSetters apart is not just learning to serve, but going into the cities and actually serving. My group helped pick berries at a family farm and they told us what we did in 3 hours would have taken them 3 months. To me, that truly represents Christ-like love”
Sarah Burton
Student 2006-13, Counselor 2014-17
"The one thing everyone told me about PaceSetters before I came is that there is no way I would come back unchanged. They were right."
Tiffany Rider
Student 2005-07
